About Perth Airport

Perth Airport, which was built in 1938 in Perth city of Australia, served as an air base for the Australian Air Force and the United States Air Force during the World War II. Perth Airport, where military and regional flights organized until 1952, gained international status since that date. The works that started in 1982 to establish a new international terminal building at the airport were completed in 1986. The management of the airport, which was controlled by the Australian Government for many years, was transferred to a private company in 1997. The airport, which gained a new terminal building in 2013, is among the busiest airports of the country with its four terminals. There are regular flights from Perth Airport, which is used by 13 million passengers every year, to important cities such as Johannesburg, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
