Luhansk is a city located in the west of Ukraine. With a population of about half a million, this city is located between mountains with a natural view isn’t really considered as a touristic place. You must also take into consideration that, sometimes flights may be canceled because of the ongoing conflicts in the country. The airport is south to the city center and is in an area 16 km away. There are buses that leave from the airport to the city however since their hours are spread apart, you may need to wait for the bus. You can also walk a little out of the airport and get on the minibuses known as matryoshkas.
Transportation to Luhansk City Center from Airport
Lugansk city is located in the eastern part of Ukraine, on the Russian border. Because the city center is a short distance (19 km) from Lugansk Airport, you can easily travel between the city and the terminal, although there is not much alternative in terms of transportation facilities.
