Search flights to Desroches Island

Desroches, which is the main island of Seychelles, is 6 kilometers long and covers an area of approximately 3 square kilometers. On the island, which has a population of approximately 50 people, there are small and luxurious hotels built in 1988 in the northwest part of the coastal area. The island is covered with beautiful coconut trees and tall tropical trees. The shallowest part of the 1.6-kilometer-wide deep canal led by a small pond is approximately 18 meters, and it is located 11 kilometers northwest of Desroches.

In 2007, Island Conservation Society opened a conservation center on the island. The island is under protection by this society. There are sparrows, zebras and different vegetation around the settlements on the island where ordinary bird species can also be found. Green turtles can also be seen on the long and encircled beaches of Desroches.
