You can reach Salt Lake City International Airport from the city centre by using the taxi and shuttle services. If you prefer a more economical mode of transportation, you can reach the airport by bus or tram. As an alternative, you can also rent a vehicle.

Taxi

You can easily find a taxi in Salt Lake City. If you wish your hotel can also arrange a taxi on your behalf. It takes taxis 15 minutes on average to reach the airport from the city center.

Shuttle Service

There are many shuttle service providers that use a variety of vehicles to transport passenger to and from the airport. Your hotel can help you find a suitable company that provides shuttle services and book your seats in advance. You can find further detailed information on the official website of the airport. The cost of a shuttle service is 25 to 30 dollars for up to two travellers, and an extra 5 dollars is requested for each additional passenger.

Car Rental

You can easily reach the airport within 12 to 15 minutes by choosing one of the many car rental companies located in the city centre. You should follow the Interstate 80 East (I-80 E) or the West 400 South (W 400 S) to reach the airport.

Bus

It is possible to get to the airport in 15 minutes by taking bus route 453 from the city centre. The bus fare is 2.5 dollars. This bus route is only operational during weekdays.  

Tram

You can reach the airport with the Green Line in just half an hour. The ticket costs 2.5 dollars. This line runs every 15 minutes on weekdays between 05:47 and 23:27, every 20 minutes between 06:36 and 23:16 on Saturdays, and every 20 minutes between 06:20 and 22:20 on Sundays.

Airport Information

Located approximately 4 miles from the city centre, Salt Lake City International Airport is a large and busy airport with 3 terminals and 4 runways. It offers domestic and international flights, cargo services, is used by military aircrafts, and is also equipped with an aviation training centre. Other than standard facilities such as a post office, ATMs, Bureau de Change (currency exchange) offices, travellers can take advantage of the 18-hole golf course and the lounge area in the airport. The airport also offers many options for dining and shopping. All passengers in the airport can benefit from the free Wi-Fi.

Adana, which is the largest city in Mediterranean and Eastern Anatolia regions, is the Turkey’s fifth largest city that is connected to the world through Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district. It is very easy to get to the airport which is 5km away from Yüreğir district, Kayalıbağ and Reşatbey neighborhoods which are accepted as the city center.

Although they are not headed to Adana, there are shuttle services and HAVAŞ buses at the airport. However, these buses only go to Mersin and Hatay.

Municipal Buses

You can reach the city center by riding on the municipality bus number 135 departing from Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district, the most crowded district of Adana. You can reach the city center, Çukurova University and Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard connecting to Girne Boulevard by bus which you can take from the bus stops at the airport.

It is also possible to take the bus number 135 to reach the metro stations running on Akıncılar-Hospital route. The buses run hourly between 6 am and 7 pm every day and departs from the airport and Çukurova University simultaneously.

Minibus – Dolmush

At the airport, you can benefit from the minibus and dolmush transportation, which departs at shorter intervals compared to bus; it is a more preferred option because of the short distance from the airport to the city center. There are two minibus lines as Airport-City Center and Meydan (Square) carrying passengers to the city center. It would not be wrong to say that minibuses and dolmush pass through in a few minutes in both directions.

Taxi

You can also take a taxi at Şakirpaşa Airport to reach the city center along the Seyhan River.  Taxi is not an expensive option, because the airport is close to the city center.

Car

Adana Şakirpaşa Airport also offers various possibilities for those who wish to travel by their own cars in the city. There are 9 car rental offices at the airport including 5 at the Domestic Terminal and 4 at the International Terminal.

The airport also has an outdoor parking area with 569 cars capacity. If you drive through Turhan Cemil Beriker Boulevard following the Barış Boulevard at the exit of the airport, this route leads you to Sabancı Mosque, Girne Boulevard, Yüreğir Coach Station and Adana Archeology Museum in the city center.
