Taxi

You can reach Konya Airport by taking a taxi from anywhere in the city center. Depending on the traffic density, you can use your time in a more economical way by taking a taxi, which is the fastest option you can choose, compared to other alternatives. In this sense, the taxis, which provide a 24-hour service, can be a good choice for you.

HAVAŞ

You can also get to Konya Airport from the city center by HAVAŞ shuttle buses. You can reach the airport after a journey that takes about 30 minutes by HAVAŞ shuttle buses. You can find out the departure times of HAVAŞ buses departing from Anıt Meydanı (Anıt Square) by visiting the website of HAVAŞ. It is also important to keep in mind that the buses depart from the city center 2 hours before the plane take-off times.

Rent a car

You can get to the airport by the car you can rent from the car rental offices in the city center in addition to the car rental offices in the terminal building. Once you reach the airport by the rental car you can rent from the central offices of Budget, Hertz, AVIS and Enterprise companies, you can deliver it at the offices in the airport building.

Airport Information

Domestic and International terminals serve in one building at Konya Airport. Inside the terminal, there are the offices of car rental companies, three cafés where you can spend your time while waiting and four shopping stores as well as a bank ATM.

Konya Airport, which has two runways and a medium-sized parking area, is also among the airports awarded for "Green Building Certificate" by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in 2015.

Adana, which is the largest city in Mediterranean and Eastern Anatolia regions, is the Turkey’s fifth largest city that is connected to the world through Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district. It is very easy to get to the airport which is 5km away from Yüreğir district, Kayalıbağ and Reşatbey neighborhoods which are accepted as the city center.

Although they are not headed to Adana, there are shuttle services and HAVAŞ buses at the airport. However, these buses only go to Mersin and Hatay.

Municipal Buses

You can reach the city center by riding on the municipality bus number 135 departing from Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district, the most crowded district of Adana. You can reach the city center, Çukurova University and Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard connecting to Girne Boulevard by bus which you can take from the bus stops at the airport.

It is also possible to take the bus number 135 to reach the metro stations running on Akıncılar-Hospital route. The buses run hourly between 6 am and 7 pm every day and departs from the airport and Çukurova University simultaneously.

Minibus – Dolmush

At the airport, you can benefit from the minibus and dolmush transportation, which departs at shorter intervals compared to bus; it is a more preferred option because of the short distance from the airport to the city center. There are two minibus lines as Airport-City Center and Meydan (Square) carrying passengers to the city center. It would not be wrong to say that minibuses and dolmush pass through in a few minutes in both directions.

Taxi

You can also take a taxi at Şakirpaşa Airport to reach the city center along the Seyhan River.  Taxi is not an expensive option, because the airport is close to the city center.

Car

Adana Şakirpaşa Airport also offers various possibilities for those who wish to travel by their own cars in the city. There are 9 car rental offices at the airport including 5 at the Domestic Terminal and 4 at the International Terminal.

The airport also has an outdoor parking area with 569 cars capacity. If you drive through Turhan Cemil Beriker Boulevard following the Barış Boulevard at the exit of the airport, this route leads you to Sabancı Mosque, Girne Boulevard, Yüreğir Coach Station and Adana Archeology Museum in the city center.
