Luis Munoz Marin International Airport is very close to the city center and it offers enough alternatives for transportation. You can take a taxi or bus to reach San Juan city center from the airport. You can also prefer to travel comfortably for your entire trip by renting a car at the airport. In addition, some hotels in the city also provide airport shuttle services for their guests.

Taxi

You can easily find available taxis in front of the terminals A and B. Taking a taxi to reach the city center costs about 15 or 20 Dollars. Besides, you are charged extra 1 dollar per suitcase. The taxi ride takes about 15 or 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Bus

Bus stops are located in front of the terminals A and D. You can get more information about the best bus line and the timetable of bus services from the information desk at the arrival terminal.

14 different car rental companies, including the worldwide Avis, Budget, Hertz and Sixt, provide this service at the airport. You can comfortably reach the city center by renting an affordable car to meet your needs. It is possible to get to the city center in less than twenty minutes by driving through the highway 26.

Hotel Shuttle Services

Some hotels in the city offer airport shuttle services for their guests. You need to make a reservation in advance to benefit from this service that is charged extra. If you take advantage of this service, you can effortlessly reach the hotel you are going to stay because the driver of shuttle waits for you at the exit of the luggage delivery area.
