Transportation to Cadiz City Center from Airport
There is no airport in Cadiz, which is a port city. While the closest airport is Jerez Airport, Sevilla International airport is preferred as it has more inbound flights.
If your plane is landing at Jerez Airport, the airport is around 45 km away from Cadiz. It’s possible to get to the city by taxi but this would cost you 50 euros. It's possible to reach Cadiz in 30 minutes under normal traffic conditions by renting a car and following the A4 highway. You can easily find car rental agencies in the baggage claim area. You can find car rental agency desks in the ground floor of the main terminal. If you take the AP4 or A4 road you should reach Cadiz in about an hour and a half. There is a train station quite close to Sevilla International Airport. By using the free services from the airport, you can reach this station and from here take a train going to Cadiz. Buses going to Cadiz don’t leave from the airport but you can take a bus or taxi to the city centre and take a bus going to Cadiz from there.
