Taxi

It is possible to reach the airport in about 40 minutes by bus. Public transportation can be a good alternative for those coming from Al-Khobar and Al-Hasa. Once you have reached Dammam city center by bus, you can easily get to the airport by transferring from here.

Car Rental

Car rental is highly preferred by tourists since public transportation in Dammam can be generally distressful. In the city center you can see the offices of many car rental companies. If you wish, your hotel can also help you to rent a car. It is possible to arrive at the airport in half an hour with the car you rent. From the city center you must connect to King Fahd road and follow the airport sign boards.

Airport Information

Although the King Fahd International Airport, which is 20 km northeast of the city center, is at world standards, problems can sometimes emerge and long queues may occur in passport control. If you drive westwards on the same highway, you can get to Santo Domingo in about 50 minutes.

Many hotels in the city offer airport shuttle service for their guests. You need to pay additional amount in order to benefit from this service and the amount you need to pay is a little higher compared to taxi. In addition, you should make a reservation in advance by contacting your hotel before your arrival to the city.
