Airport Transfer

It will be possible to reach the airport with the subway lines passing through Zamalek, Wasat Al-Balad and the Nile's eastern region, which we refer to as the center of Cairo, in a few years, but you can only reach the areas close by at the moment. Al Dock, Opera, Sedat (Tahrir) and Naguib are the metro stations close to the center.

You need to transfer to the Green Line at Attaba station from Yellow Line, which hosts the above mentioned stations.

Even if it does not reach the airport yet, you can get off at the Abbasiye station and complete the 15 kilometers distance by taxi or bus number 111. It is also possible to reach the airport by buses 27, 111, 356 from Tahrir Square where Sedat metro station is located.

Private Vehicle

Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

The airport, in the Heliopolis area, is the second airport in Africa with regards to passenger traffic. With the completion of the newly constructed terminals, there are also many possibilities offered for those waiting for their flight.

Bus

You can get to the city center from Kastamonu Airport by bus. Buses provide comfortable transportation to the city. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the city from the airport by bus. Buses are a more affordable alternative compared to taxis. Buses are readily available at the airport exit and they run frequently.

Shuttle Services

Another convenient way to get to the city from the airport is by shuttle services. Turkish Airlines and Pegasus provide passenger shuttle services that make getting to and from the airport even easier. Turkish Airlines has two shuttle services that operate every day in the morning. Pegasus has a shuttle service that provides transportation to and from the airport on Thursdays and on the weekends; this shuttle service operates at varying times of the day.
