Transportation to Athens City Center from Airport

Bus

You can reach the central locations of Sintagma Square, Athena Academy, and Agios Fanourious by taking the X95 from the bus stops located in front of the airport administration building. The journey to the city centre should take around an hour. Once you are at the 16th stop, Evangelismos Hospital, you can take either walk, or take the 732 bus for three stops, to reach Sintagma Square.

You can also reach various areas in Athens from the airport by taking buses 54, 608, 622, 732, and 815.

Train – Metro

There’s been a recent switch in Athens from Greek to Latin alphabet for station names, however the Latin alphabet is not yet used everywhere. There is also a train line going directly to Port Pire from the airport.
