Belko Air

Belko Air provides comfortable transportation between the airport and central locations in the city, like Kızılay, Sıhhiye, Ulus, AŞTİ, Gar and Pursaklar. You can use the 45 passenger buses 442/A and 442/K by getting on at the stops opposite the exits on the domestic arrivals floor and international arrivals floor.

Buses are equipped with internet, feature hostess services and take off every 30 minutes from 5 am till 12am and every hour from 12 am to 5 am. Taking a Belko Air bus to get to the city is an affordable option.  

EGO Buses

The Esenboğa Airport is accessible by bus line 442-3, which passes through AKM, Ankara Arena and Güvenpark. The 491 bus line provides transportation between the airport and Ulus and Sihhiye but it only operates 3 times a day during the week.

Taxi

Taking a taxi within the city is generally affordable since the distances are usually close to each other. But taking a taxi to the airport is a more expensive alternative because it is located 28 km away. You can try to negotiate with the taxi driver for a lower fee.

Personal Car

The Esenboğa Airport has two parking lots. There is a multi-story parking lot, which allows for short-term and long-term parking, and an outdoor parking lot, which only allows for short-term parking.

Esenboğa Airport is frequently used by government staff and therefore features many amenities. The distance between Diori Hamani Niamey International Airport and the capital of Nigeria, Niamey, is about 8 kilometers. To reach the city center directly you can go to the minibus called faba faba or taxi. If comfort in transportation is more important to you, you can also rent your own car. The maximum duration of your journey is 15 minutes.

Minibus

The name "faba faba" given to minibuses those provide transportation between Niamey Airport and Niamey city center. Faba faba vehicles, which are often preferred by tourists, are quite cheap. With faba faba minibuses you can easily reach the city center and to other parts of the city by transferring.

Taxi

When you land at Niamey Airport, you can use airport taxis or private taxis. The cost of reaching Niamey city center by 24/7 ready-to-arrive taxis can vary between 15,000 and 18,000 Nigerian Nigerians (47-56 dollars). From the airport it is possible to get into Niamey city in 10 to 12 minutes by taxi.

Car Rental

Renting a car can be an ideal method for you if you are going to stay in Niamey for more than a couple of days. While urban public transport in Niamey has improved considerably, renting a car can be practical in terms of time saving. You can use the N1 and N25 to reach Niamey city center as soon as possible with the car you will rent from the airport. It is recommended to do a little research before the day you rent your car, because sometimes domestic companies can have periodic campaigns and discounts.
