Airport Information

Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. Despite the potential of the passengers, the airport offers limited facilities to spend time.

For the passengers who use the international terminal, there are two restaurants and two buffets, one of which is in the clean area as well as a duty-free shop. There is a buffet in the domestic terminal and a café in the clean area. On the first floor of the airport, seven different car rental companies offer service. You should drive southward on the road l-81 N in order to get to the city center with the car you have rented.

Ride-Sharing

At Hancock International Airport, there are private parking areas for passengers using applications like Uber. You can reach this private waiting area by crossing over by following “Lift” signs at the exit of the baggage claim area of the Terminal B.

Most of the accommodation centers in Syracuse offer airport shuttle service for their guests. They generally offer this service for free. You can benefit from airport shuttle service by contacting your hotel in advance and comfortably travel to the city from the airport.
